Easy silence

Although it’s been over a year now, it hasn’t been easy adjusting to life in Texas. This post would be fifty pages long if I started listing all the things I struggle with and that frustrate me since moving here. But because I don’t want to type fifty pages of complaints, and most of them are petty and ridiculous anyway, I will spare the details. What I will (briefly:-) share, though, is my daily realization of the wonderful husband God has blessed me with. Not only is he my husband, but he is my encourager, defender, sympathizer, and best friend all rolled into one handsome package! When I get fired up about something (which happens more often than it should lately) he always has a way of bringing a positive perspective to what otherwise would seem like an impossible situation. I love this man…I love his honesty, his genuine heart and his steadfast devotion to our family….so many things I love about him, I could go on and on. “He is my North, my South, my East and West, my working week and my Sunday rest, my noon, my midnight, my talk, my song.”
(as cheesy as it was, we had the photographer take a few “couple” pictures)

  1. i taught him everything he knows…
    or maybe not.
    he is pretty amazing.
    both of you are.
don’t know why that made me cry….

  4. Yeah, I agree too. I met him when he was 4. I was always so proud of knowing him. Now he is married to a wonderful wife and has wonderful children!
