Next week, Irelynd will start a two-day-a-week preschool class at a local church.  This morning Irelynd got to meet her teacher, Ms. Margaret, and play for a little while in her classroom.  Irelynd was her typical, outgoing self….as you can see, she had a hard time containing her excitement!  :-)

Today, Owen had the tumor removed from his ribcage.  They could not determine whether or not it was malignant, so they had to send it in to be analyzed….we should know the results early next week.  Despite the many problems this dog has had over his short life, he is still a big part of our family, and we love him!!  At least he got a snazzy scarf out of the deal!

My sister-in-law, Jody, put together this amazing video featuring a song by Alli Rogers which is “A song about Jen and Mary. One a mother in Africa. One a mother in America. And somehow each night as they lay their kids in bed, perhaps their prayers are very much the same….”

Is it wishful thinking to hope these two play together like this for the next fifteen or so years?!
